Paired (there are left and right meridians), Yin (female), metal, centrifugal, takes energy from the meridian of the liver and transmits it to the meridian of the colon; it includes 11 points. The maximum activity is between 3:00 — 5:00, and the minimum activity is between 15:00—17:00.
Meridian Functions
The lungs control the level of metabolism and respiration, nasopharynx, larynx, tonsils, trachea and bronchi.
